But before I introduce it to you let me first welcome you to the
Information Gateway of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Established
in 1952, RCCG is a growing church with Parishes of the church in over
178 countries of the world.
Beloved, David once faced a Lion that was the champion of the forest and killed it. This was what gave David the boldness to confront Goliath the champion of the city saying to him that the Lord who gave me strength and wisdom to kill a Lion & a bear that attacked my flocks the same Almighty God will give me wisdom and strength needed to do the same thing to Goliath of Gad.
Your ability to achieve a particular goal is a function of the ones you have achieved in the past through the help of the Almighty God. When the Lord decided to move us from the FIRST AUDITORIUM at the Redemption Camp, there were many people who felt that the auditorium we were moving from was the biggest they had ever seen or had. Also, when the Lord decided to move us away from the SECOND AUDITORIUM to the ARENA where we presently worship, many said it was impossible, but it happened. Today, the Lord is set to move us to a bigger arena because the children need to occupy the present one.
Many of us have lost our miracles because we stopped too soon. A divine champion sets goals believing that with God, nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). I have been challenged by people who say, what we want to do now is impossible. The moment you say it is impossible; I will want to show you that it is possible. It could take some sweating, fasting, night vigils and a little extra effort, but whatever goals divine champions set before God, they will get it. As a divine champion, it is not all the time you set a goal that you realize it at first instance. Many times, you have to try and try over and over again before you succeed. The important thing is that as a child of God you will win at the end…and there is a reward of everlasting victory and permanent joy for every divine champion that achieves his divine goals.
To this end I want to encourage you to join hands with us in completing our NEW AUDITORIUM and if you are ready kindly click on NEW AUDITORIUM to put in your widow’s mite. You can also click on NEHEMIAH BUILDERS to join a number of committed brethren who had decided to task themselves a little bit more to ensure we achieved this goal for the Lord our God in our time. God bless you in Jesus name.

Dr. Daniel Olukoya
Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Lagos
About MFM
MFM Ministries is a full gospel ministry devoted to the Revival of Apostolic Signs, Holy Ghost fireworks and the unlimited demonstration of the power of God to deliver to the uttermost.Absolute holiness within and without as the greatest spiritual insecticide and a pre-requisite for Heaven is taught openly. MFM is a do-it-yourself Gospel ministry where your hands are trained to wage war and your fingers to do battle.
At MFM, aggressive prayer is considered as an aid to spiritual focus and a check against being overwhelmed by the flesh. At MFM Prayer City, prayer goes on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, non-stop.
In the Beginning...
Soon after completing his Ph.D. in the United Kingdom, and while working at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya (DKO) summoned a prayer meeting. This was on a Wednesday in 1989. 24 brethren showed up at the meeting. The venue of that meeting was in the living room of DKO.After that meeting, the voice of providence kept calling for subsequent meetings. At these meetings, the power of God came down and verifiable miracles began to happen in the lives of the attending brethren. The power of God began to evangelise the prayer meetings and a spiritual explosion began with people coming from far and wide to seek the face of God.
With more and more people attending the prayer meetings, a larger location was required. The prayer meetings moved to 60 Old Yaba Road, Yaba, Lagos. Here, the teeming crowd of believers grew in even more amazing proportion necessitating yet another relocation.
The prayer group was offered and purchased an abandoned slum located at 13 Olasimbo Street, Onike, Yaba. It was a fairly large piece of land near the second gate of the University of Lagos. That slum has now been transformed into the International Headquarters of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries of which Dr. Olukoya is the General Overseer. The name "Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries" was revealed to DKO during normal prayer and the church had its first service on April 24, 1994.
Even at the new location, believers and those seeking help kept coming leading to a very large congregation. This situation posed a challenge of crowd, growth and expansion management to the leadership of the church. Thus, under the direction of the Lord, MFM evolved a strategy of a network of branches in every state capital, local government headquarters, senatorial district and locality. Till this day and across the world, MFM branches spring up as one of the fastest growing churches of this generation. International church branches first started in London before spreading to the United States, Canada, the rest of Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. On every continent, MFM is profoundly visible and greatly impactful.

Early life and history
On September 27, 1954 David Olaniyi Oyedepo was born in Osogbo, Nigeria, but is a native of Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria. He was raised in a mixed religious family His father, Ibrahim, was a Muslim healer. His mother, Dorcas, was a member of the Eternal Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement (C&S), a branch of the Aladura movement in Nigeria. He was raised by his grandmother in Osogbo, who introduced him to the virtues of Christian life via early morning prayers which she attended with him. She also taught him the importance of tithing.Oyedepo was born again in 1969, through the influence of his teacher, Betty Lasher, who took special interest in him during his high school days. He studied architecture at the former Kwara State Polytechnic, now Kwara State University and worked briefly with the Federal Ministry of Housing in Ilorin before resigning to concentrate on missionary work. Oyedepo received a Ph.D. in Human Development from Honolulu University, Hawaii, United States.[5]
Oyedepo claimed to have received a mandate from God through an 18-hour vision in May 1981, to liberate the world from all oppression of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith. This is the inaugural vision that led to the founding of the Living Faith Church World Wide (LFCWW), first called Liberation Faith Hour Ministries, in 1981. Two years later, on September 17, 1983, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, ordained David and his wife, Florence Abiola Akano (known as Faith Abiola Oyedepo) to become pastors and officially commissioned the new church. Five years later, Oyedepo was ordained as Bishop.
Living Faith Church (AKA Winners Chapel) started in Kaduna but moved to Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria in July 1989, to start a new branch of the church after Oyedepo claimed to have received instructions from God to reach out to the people of Lagos.
Oyedepo is the wealthiest preacher in Nigeria with a net worth of over USD $150 million. The church owns four private jets and several buildings around the world, including London and the United States. Oyedepo is an author and publisher who has written over 70 titles apart from periodicals. He is the Chairman/Publisher of Dominion Publishing House (DPH), a publishing arm of the ministry. DPH has over 4 million prints in circulation to date. Through Oyedepo Covenant University, Faith Academy and Kingdom Heritage Schools have been established to equip the youth for global impact. The construction of a third university named Crown University is already underway, located in Calabar, Cross Rivers, Nigeria.
Place of Worship
Bishop Oyedepo claims that in 1998 he was instructed by God to build a new base for the Commission to accommodate the increasing number of worshippers. This resulted in Bishop Oyedepo's church's acquisition of the initial 530-acre (2.1 km2) facility, known as Canaanland, which serves as the headquarters. It is the home of the 50,000-seat capacity auditorium, the 'Faith Tabernacle', which is reputed to be the largest church auditorium in the world. This was a feat also recorded by the Guinness Book of Records.
Faith Tabernacle was reported as the Worlds' Largest Church
Auditorium in December 2005
Construction was completed within 12 months. Reports also claimed that this
building was built debt free. This 50,000-seat
edifice was dedicated on September 18, 1999 under the administration of former
President Olusegun Obasanjo.Canaanland is in Ota, Ogun state and is the 5,000-acre (20 km2) estate and campus, that houses The 50,000 church building, the church secretariat, the church's youth chapel, a primary school called Kingdom heritage model school, a full boarding mission secondary school called Faith Academy, with over 1,500 students and the Covenant University facilities, which accommodates over 7,000 students, fully resident in ultra-modern hostel facilities, with fully equipped faculty buildings and numerous staff housing facilities. Canaanland campus also has for profit establishments operated by the church such as a bakery, a bottled water processing plant, a petrol station, various restaurants and shopping stores, several residential houses that provide for the over 2,000 church employees, and guest houses. Four banks are also present on this Estate, three of which are branches of external commercial banks and one which is a community and micro-finance Bank and operated by the Church. The whole of Canaanland which includes a proposed 15,000 housing estate known as Canaan City had increased to 17,000 acres as at 2012.
Christian ministry
The teachings of Oyedepo has put him in the category of what is commonly called the Word of Faith Movement. He has referred to principal exponents of the Faith Movement such as Kenneth Copeland, Gloria Copeland, the late Kenneth Hagin, E. W. Kenyon, T. L. Osborn, Smith Wigglesworth as well as renowned Nigerian preachers Enoch Adeboye and the late Benson Idahosa as mentors. His Winners Chapel operates a Bible training programme known as Word of Faith Bible Institute for members and non-members alike to develop knowledge of Christian principles and to develop leaders and future pastors. This institute is run in major branches of the Church.
Oyedepo is the President of David Oyedepo Ministries International (DOMI). DOMI is the umbrella organisation comprising Living Faith Church World Wide (a global network of churches), World Mission Agency (WMA); the global missionary arm of the church's operations, Dominion Publishing House; the publishing arm of the church, Covenant University, and the Social Development Missions projects (made up of hospitals, maternity homes, schools, etc.
Oyedepo has criticised corruption in Africa as a whole and poor leadership in government.
Book publishing
Oyedepo's church also operates its own publishing house, called Dominion Publishing House (DPH), commissioned on December 5, 1992 which has published over 60 Christian, inspirational and motivational books, mini books, magazines and other resources. Prophet Temitope Joshua
Synagogue Church, Lagos
Church of All Nations (SCOAN)
Temitope Balogun Joshua (born June 12, 1963), commonly referred to as T. B. Joshua, is a Nigerian preacher. He is the leader and founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a religious organisation that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos, Nigeria.
He has been awarded various accolades, notably receiving the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Nigerian government in 2008 and being voted the Yoruba man of the decade by Pan-Yoruba media outlet Irohin-Odua. He was recognised as one of Africa's 50 most influential people by Pan-African magazines 'The Africa Report' and 'New African Magazine' and listed among the world's most famous people.
Joshua is known for his popularity across Africa and his online presence, with over 1,500,000 fans on Facebook and hundreds of YouTube videos which have proved controversial and amassed millions of views In 2011, according to Forbes, Joshua was Nigeria’s third-richest pastor.
Biography
According to Joshua’s official
biography, unusual circumstances surrounded his birth. He says that he spent 15
months in his mother’s womb and
narrowly avoided death after a quarry explosion near his house sent rocks
through its roof just seven days after his birth.
Joshua attended St. Stephen's
Anglican Primary School in Arigidi-Akoko, Nigeria between 1971 and 1977, but
failed to complete one year of secondary school education. In school, he was
known as "small pastor" because of his love for the Bible. He worked
in various casual jobs after his schooling had ended, including carrying
chicken waste at a poultry farm. He organised Bible studies for local children
and attended evening school during this period. Joshua attempted to join the
Nigerian military but was thwarted due to a train breakdown that left him
stranded en route to the military academy.
The
Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN)
Joshua wrote that in a heavenly
vision he had received divine anointing and a covenant from God to start his
ministry. Following this, Joshua founded the ministry organisation The
Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) with only a handful of members.
According to the organisation, more than 15,000 members attend its
weekly Sunday service; visitors from outside Nigeria are accommodated in the
accommodation blocks constructed at the church.
The
Guardian reported that The SCOAN attracts
more weekly attendees than the combined number of visitors to Buckingham
Palace and the Tower of London. The SCOAN's popular services have
also resulted in an enormous boost for local businesses and hoteliers.
Despite Joshua's popularity, the church
only has a branch in Ghana,
Joshua stating that "it is not yet time" for him to have branches
worldwide as "it will be too much for my character".

Main article: 2014 Synagogue Church building
collapse
On 12 September 2014 a guesthouse
collapsed in The SCOAN's premises in Lagos killing at least 115 people, 84 of
them South Africans.
Alleged
healings and miracles
SCOAN remains controversial both in
Nigeria and abroad, claiming regular occurrences of divine miracles. Several
hundred Nigerians and international visitors come to the SCOAN each week to
register for the prayer lines where the visitors are prayed over by Joshua and
the "Wise Men". SCOAN has published numerous videos claiming to
document the healing of incurable disabilities and illnesses such as HIV/AIDS.
Medical reports are a prerequisite for prayer for any health-related ailment in
an attempt to authenticate the miracles said to be occurring.
Spiritual healing at The SCOAN has
been the subject of several media reports, including a mention in Time
Magazine, an Associated Press interview and an article by Foreign
Policy detailing the proficiency of Nigerians to seek 'spiritual' help due
to insufficient medical facilities.
Anointing
Water
Many have also claimed to be healed
through Anointing Water that has been prayed over by Joshua and given to those
who are unable to physically attend his church in Lagos.
The water sparked controversy when
four people died in a stampede in Joshua's Ghanaian branch when an unadvertised
service where it was being distributed drew huge crowds far beyond the churches
capacity, bringing Ghana's capital city Accra almost to a standstill.
Joshua also made headlines when he
claimed his Anointing Water could cure the deadly disease Ebola. He
subsequently sent 4,000 bottles of the water alongside a cash gift of $50,000
to the Ebola-stricken nation of Sierra
Leone. This came after Lagos State Health officials visited Joshua, requesting
him to publicly discourage Ebola victims from visiting his church for prayers.
Alleged
deliverances of demon-possessed
SCOAN is also controversial for the
deliverance of those allegedly possessed by evil spirits during its services.
The wife of Ghanaian goal keeper Richard
Kingson was allegedly delivered of an evil spirit which was supposedly
behind her husband's inability to procure a contract with a team since 2011. He
has since secured a contract with Turkish club Balıkesirspor.
Notable Ghanaian human rights lawyer
Kwabla Senanu testified at The
SCOAN that he was delivered from a spiritual problem that had caused him
embarrassing bouts of sleep in the courtroom. Similarly, Ghanaian musician
Denise Williams said she was delivered from a demon that had pushed her to
become a drug addict and suicidal. Veteran Nigerian Nollywood Actress Camilla
Mberekpe was also said to be delivered at The SCOAN.
Popular Nollywood actor Jim Iyke also
allegedly received deliverance at The SCOAN, the video of the supposed event
subsequently going viral.\
Foreign
crusades
Although Joshua rarely travels, he
has held foreign crusades in Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and
Colombia. His 'Miracle Crusade' in Cali,
Colombia in July 2014 was allegedly attended by 100,000 people and held in
the Estadio Olímpico Pascual Guerrero.
He held a crusade in the Estadio
Azteca in Mexico which was allegedly attended by 200,000 people over two
days in May 2015.
Humanitarian
work
Another ministry is the humanitarian
arm of SCOAN. There are media reports that this humanitarian arm has donated
money in order to help orphans and the destitute. In 2009 it was reported that
one widow received more than 500,000 N. In 2012, Joshua sponsored one Nigerian
student doing a PhD in Oxford University with Nigerian media reporting
the total given amounted to £100,000. There is also a rehabilitation programme
for militants
from Nigeria’s volatile Niger Delta region and a Forbes blogger
estimated that Joshua has spent $20 million on humanitarian activities over a
period of three years.
Joshua was involved in the meeting
of the family of the late president of Liberia, Samuel Doe,
with the former warlord Prince Yormie Johnson who was responsible for
Doe's death. During this meeting the family publicly forgave Johnson.
SCOAN has also established another
NGO in Ghana called Passion For Needy. After the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Joshua sent a team of
medical personnel and humanitarian workers to the affected area, establishing a
field hospital called 'Clinique Emmanuel'. In recognition of his humanitarian
activities, he was awarded a National Honour by the Nigerian government in 2008
as well as receiving a letter of
appreciation from the United Nations. He was further honoured as an
Ambassador of Peace by the Arewa Youth Forum, a predominantly Muslim organisation,
in appreciation of his humanitarian endeavours.
Sports
In 2009, Joshua started a football
club, My
People FC, as part of efforts to help the youth. Two members of the team
played for Nigeria's Golden Eaglets in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Sani Emmanuel,
who apparently lived in The SCOAN for several years, was Nigeria's top-scorer
and the tournament's MVP. Emmanuel and his colleague Ogenyi
Onazi have now signed professional contracts with SS Lazio,
Onazi a key player for the Nigerian Senior Team, the Super Eagles.
WBO International Light Middleweight
boxing champion King Davidson Emenogu said that Joshua has financially
supported him throughout his career and purportedly prophesied that he would be
a world boxing champion.
Prophecies
SCOAN claims that Joshua has
successfully predicted events in the lives of individuals who attend his church
services as well as worldwide events, including a prophecy of Michael
Jackson's death, the Boston bombing attacks in America and the outcome of two African Cup of Nations
(AFCON) final matches, which were won by Zambia and Nigeria respectively.
His alleged prophecy about the death
of an African president was widely reported in African press. Joshua's
followers believe the prophecy concerned the former president of Malawi Bingu wa Mutharika who died in 2012.
False rumors spread using Joshua's
name are known to have caused widespread panic in communities, affected
sporting events and led people to stop using social networks.[68]
Alleged
MH370 prophecy
Joshua's purported prophecy about
the crash of Malaysian Airlines MH370 several months
before the incident drew international media attention with its accompanying
YouTube video going viral and amassing over 1,000,000 views in weeks.
Notable
visitors
Notable visitors, especially within
the African political sphere, have visited SCOAN. These include late Ghanaian
President John Evans Atta Mills South Africa’s Winnie
Mandela, EFF leader Julius
Malema,[73]
the Zulu King, Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu and
the late former Zambian President Frederick
Chiluba who once stated that he watched 'Emmanuel TV' daily.
Emmanuel
TV
Emmanuel TV
is the television station of the SCOAN and broadcasts 24/7. Its Sunday
services, which include the prayer line, are broadcast live. Joshua's
programmes also air weekly on a number of local television stations across
Africa. In its profile on Joshua, the BBC described him as 'Nigeria's best known televangelist'
Emmanuel TV's YouTube Channel
has amassed 175,000 subscribers and over 60 millions views.
Popular Nigerian Actress Tonto Dikeh
testified that Joshua’s prayers on Emmanuel TV stopped her smoking habit of 14
years. Similarly, Nollywood
Actor Hanks
Anuku revealed that he was saved from 'alcohol, drugs and mental issues'
through Joshua's prayers on Emmanuel TV.
